BYD Launches Landmark EV Production in Brazil

Camaçari, Bahia, Brazil – July 1, 2024 – In a significant milestone for Latin America's electric vehicle (EV) industry, BYD today celebrated the production launch at its new passenger car factory in Camaçari, Bahia, Brazil. The first locally manufactured vehicles – the BYD DOLPHIN MINI and BYD SONG PLUS DM-i – rolled off the assembly line, marking the official start of operations.
