BYD announces construction of a CKD plant in Malaysia and launches the all-new BYD Seal

BYD held a launch event for the all-new BYD Seal in Malaysia, announcing plans to build a knock-down (CKD) assembly plant in the country, with production expected to begin in 2026. On the same day, the grand opening of the 36th BYD Wing Hin store also took place, bringing the total number of BYD and Denza stores in Malaysia to 43. This move marks a significant milestone for BYD in the Malaysian market and further demonstrates its commitment to both globalization and localization.
