BYD Achieves Major Milestone in Cambodia with 2,500 Deliveries in 2025 and Expands Local Presence
BYD has reached a significant milestone in the Cambodian market, with the delivery of its 2,500th vehicle in August 2025, underscoring its growing influence and customer trust in the region.
To support this rapid growth, BYD is expanding its retail and service network across the country. The brand plans to increase the total number of showrooms to 13 by the end of this year. Additionally, new after-sales service centers will be established in key cities including Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville, ensuring enhanced customer support and convenience.
In line with its product expansion strategy, BYD has introduced two new models to the Cambodian market: the all-electric SUV Sealion 7 and the hybrid MPV M9. Both models are set to begin deliveries in October, offering consumers more new energy vehicle (NEV) options.
Further strengthening its local presence, BYD is constructing a vehicle assembly plant in Cambodia. The facility is expected to commence operations within the year, boosting local production capabilities and contributing to the regional economy.
This series of initiatives highlights BYD’s long-term commitment to the Cambodian market and its dedication to providing high-quality products and services tailored to local consumers.
