Top 20 exported vehicles from China in H1 2025, BYD Song Plus was first, up 184% YoY

2025/07/15In a significant boost to its global logistics capabilities, BYD's massive pure car and truck carrier (PCTC), the "BYD EXPLORER NO.1" (also known as the "Shenzhen"), recently departed for Europe loaded with 6,817 new energy vehicles (NEVs) following a coordinated loading operation at two major Chinese ports. The vessel, one of the world's largest and most advanced car carriers, undertook a strategic "north-south relay" loading process. It first called at the Port of Ningbo-Zhoushan in eastern China before proceeding to BYD's dedicated export hub at Xiaomo International Logistics Port in Shenzhen. This efficient dual-port operation maximized cargo intake for its maiden European voyage this year.
