BYD's Self-Owned Fleet Reaches Milestone: "BYD CHANGSHA" Makes Maiden Voyage to Quanzhou Port

Named after BYD's major production base in Hunan Province, the "BYD CHANGSHA" is a state-of-the-art vessel specifically designed for the efficient transportation of electric and hybrid vehicles. With a capacity to carry thousands of vehicles per voyage, it features advanced safety systems, optimized loading mechanisms, and energy-efficient operations that align with BYD's sustainability vision.

At the inauguration ceremony, BYD representatives emphasized that expanding its proprietary fleet will improve delivery reliability, reduce logistics costs, and increase flexibility in serving key global markets. Selected for its strategic location and modern ro-ro facilities, Quanzhou Port—a vital maritime hub in southeastern China—ensures the smooth handling of large-scale NEV exports.
