The brand will formally launch its first model, the Denza D9 PHEV, on February 27 in Manila, targeting high-end MPV buyers with premium comfort, advanced technology, and efficient plug‑in hybrid performance.
The launch underscores BYD’s accelerating momentum in the Philippines. In 2025, BYD sold 26,122 vehicles in the market, representing a 446% year‑on‑year increase. For 2026, the company aims to further lift its sales and market share, supported by the introduction of the Denza brand and expanded product lineup.
Denza’s entry strengthens BYD’s dual‑brand strategy in the Philippines: BYD for the mainstream new energy vehicle market, and Denza for premium, technology‑focused customers.
