Central Asian media visited BYD for the first time to witness the global benchmark of electric mobility technology
From June 3 to 7, BYD's 2025 Central Asia Media Tour, "E-Journey: Technology Journey", was successfully held. Nearly 20 international media from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan visited BYD for the first time, and through a multi-scenario itinerary including visiting the global headquarters, checking in at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show, and immersively experiencing the smart block, they deeply decoded BYD's global leading strength in new energy technology.
At BYD's global headquarters, journalists took a ride on the Yunbus, observed the needle puncture test up close, and visited three laboratories to gain an in-depth understanding of BYD's brand development history and cutting-edge innovations. When witnessing the stable performance of the blade battery under extreme tests, many journalists lamented that behind "BYD NO.1" is the hard-core support of 28 years of technological accumulation.
Along the coastal highway, the media took test rides on a number of star models including the BYD D9, the Sealion 07 EV, the Formula Baobao 8, and the Yuan UP. The zero-gravity seat massage of the BYD D9, the push-back feeling of the Hiace 07 EV that reaches 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, the all-terrain passability of the Formula Baobao 8, and the smart urban control of the Yuan UP allowed the Central Asian media to directly feel BYD's full coverage of the passenger car matrix.
At the BYD Pavilion at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show, the U8's emergency floating function live demonstration was awe-inspiring - the vehicle floated steadily and turned when simulating a wading scene; the Fangchengbao "Leopard Power Mode" and the Denza Easy Three-way Parking and other smart technologies showed BYD's forward-looking layout in the field of intelligent driving through dynamic demonstrations. Kasymova Nargiza, a reporter from Tajikistan, said with emotion: "BYD has redefined the possibilities of automobiles with technology, and each innovation directly hits the pain points of users."
At the last stop of this "Technology Tour", the media group arrived at BYD's Xi'an factory and gained an in-depth understanding of BYD's high level of automated productivity. Xi'an was once an important starting point of the ancient Silk Road, and today's Central Asian countries are also important partners in the construction of the "Belt and Road". In the future, BYD will also give full play to its own technological innovation advantages, dig deep into the "technical fish pond", contribute to the economic and trade cooperation of countries and regions along the "Belt and Road", and help cool the earth by 1°C.
