Global leader in new energy vehicles, officially released its sales figures for December 2025 and the full year of 2025 on Monday. The data shows that BYD maintained a strong market performance throughout the year, with both monthly and annual sales achieving remarkable results. Meanwhile, its premium sub-brands Denza and Fang Cheng Bao also delivered outstanding sales performances, contributing significantly to BYD's overall growth.

In terms of the overall sales of BYD, the brand sold 420,398 new vehicles in December 2025, among which passenger vehicles accounted for 414,784 units. For the full year of 2025, BYD's cumulative sales reached 4,602,436 units, representing a year-on-year growth of 7.73%. This achievement enabled BYD to successfully win three major championships: the top seller among automakers in China's auto market, the top seller among brands in China's auto market, and the top seller in the global new energy vehicle market. It is worth noting that BYD's overseas sales achieved a historic breakthrough in 2025, with cumulative sales of passenger vehicles and pickups reaching 1,049,601 units, a year-on-year surge of 145%, and overseas sales in December alone hit 132,837 units.

As BYD's high-end new energy brand, Denza showed steady growth in 2025. Data shows that Denza sold18,139 units in December 2025, with a month-on-month growth of 36.8% and a year-on-year growth of 20.5%, setting a new monthly sales high. For the full year of 2025, Denza's cumulative sales reached 157,134 units, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%. Among Denza's product lineup, the Denza D9 remained the core sales driver, with annual sales of 103,460 units. The newly launched Denza N8L also performed well, with cumulative annual sales of 13,024 units and 6,510 units sold in December, showing a continuous growth trend. In addition, Denza's average transaction price in 2025 reached 361,000 yuan, highlighting the brand's high-end positioning and market recognition.

Fang Cheng Bao, a sub-brand focusing on personalized and high-performance new energy vehicles, achieved explosive growth in 2025. In December 2025, Fang Cheng Bao's sales soared to 50,868 units, a month-on-month growth of 36% and a stunning year-on-year growth of 345.5%, entering the "50,000-unit club" for the first time. For the full year of 2025, Fang Cheng Bao's cumulative sales reached 234,637 units, a year-on-year surge of 316.1%, making it the fastest-growing new energy brand in the market. The brand's cumulative sales have exceeded 290,000 units, with an average transaction price of 234,000 yuan, realizing high-quality growth of "volume and price increase". Among its product matrix, the Fang Cheng Bao Tai 7, known as the "pioneer of family-oriented hardcore SUVs", performed exceptionally well, selling 34,088 units in December 2025, a month-on-month growth of 41.9%, and is expected to win multiple segment championships. The Fang Cheng Bao Leopard 5, a hardcore off-road model, also achieved remarkable results, with cumulative annual sales of 59,836 units, firmly occupying the top spot in the new energy hardcore off-road SUV market.
