The BYD Zhengzhou All-Terrain Racing Track officially opened on August 14th of this year. As one of China's first dedicated all-terrain racing tracks for new energy vehicles, the track embraces the core concept of "racing for all, fun for all," allowing people to experience the ultimate driving pleasure in a one-stop experience across distinctive all-terrain and multi-dimensional extreme scenes.

From a 70-meter floating pool to a 29.6-meter sand slope, technological breakthroughs in extreme environments set a new benchmark for quality productivity.
"Emergency Floating" Demonstration
At the racetrack, the diplomats first experienced the "Emergency Floating" activity. The azure water-sailing pool was designed specifically for the Yangwang U8. Through transparent acrylic windows in the 70-meter-long pool, one could directly observe the vehicle moving straight, turning, and U-turning underwater using Yisifang technology. Diplomats enthusiastically signed up to sit in the vehicle and experience firsthand the safety performance of new energy vehicles in extreme conditions.
Next, the diplomats came to the Xuantian Sand Slope area, which holds two Guinness records for the "highest and largest sand-rushing test site" with a vertical height of 29.6 meters and a slope drop of 28 degrees.

After donning safety helmets, the diplomats excitedly boarded the Yangwang U8 to experience the ultimate thrill of sand bashing and climbing to the summit. "Although it was short, it was truly thrilling!" said Li Zhenfan, Fiji's ambassador to China, after the experience.
"God's Eye" wins fans, diplomats witness the global competitiveness of China's intelligent driving
In the 15,300-square-meter multi-functional area, the diplomats also expressed keen interest in BYD's "God's Eye" intelligent parking assistance technology. Whether parking head-on, rear-end, or offset or diagonal, simply activate the intelligent parking function with a single button, and the vehicle will autonomously scan the environment, accurately identifying the parking space boundaries and surrounding obstacles, and smoothly complete the parking maneuver without any driver intervention, demonstrating BYD's technological strength.

The wave of intelligent driving is sweeping the globe. BYD's "Eye of the Gods" intelligent driving assistance system is also making technology accessible, transforming intelligent assisted driving from a "showy toy" into a truly universal necessity. During a smart assisted driving experience on roads surrounding a racetrack, diplomats, riding in a Denza Z9GT, witnessed the stable performance of City NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), an advanced intelligent driving assistance system. Its features, including smooth following, traffic light recognition, and intelligent yielding to larger vehicles, cover nearly every need for daily commuting. BYD leverages its proprietary technological advantages and market scale to make China's assisted driving solutions globally competitive.
In challenges such as standard slalom and off-road projects, the diplomats took a test ride on the urban SUV Formula Leopard 5, feeling the passion of straight-line acceleration, the challenge of off-road climbing, and the easy passability brought by the intelligent four-wheel drive.

"This experience left a deep impression on me. Driving around the slalom was very fast and fun. BYD vehicles can handle difficult problems such as floating on water, climbing slopes, and parking. It's amazing! The vehicles are also very comfortable. Not only the driver but also the passengers can get an excellent experience, such as the spacious legroom and every detail that shows the care taken." Lisandro Basilico, a diplomat from the Argentine Embassy in China, believes that BYD cars allow everyone to experience speed, comfort and luxury.
Two "heroic" Yangwang U9s on the track
The fast-paced race on the track brought the day's exploration journey to a climax. The diplomats rode on the Yangwang U9 supercar and experienced "speed and passion" on the 1,758-meter-long track. Everyone was thrilled.
"This is a very eye- opening experience. New Zealand's electric vehicle market is developing strongly, and BYD has also entered the New Zealand market, which gives New Zealand consumers more choices and allows them to experience the various new features of new energy vehicles," said Wang Yucheng, a diplomat from New Zealand.
