BYD Yuan UP Renamed as ATTO 2 in Europe: Embarking on a New Journey in New Energy

Recently, the automotive industry has received a blockbuster news. The popular model of BYD, the leading Chinese new energy brand, Yuan UP, has been officially named ATTO 2 in the European market. This naming strategy not only marks BYD's determination to further penetrate the European continent but also brings new expectations to local consumers.
It is reported that BYD Yuan UP has attracted much attention since its launch in China, thanks to its stylish and dynamic appearance, highly efficient and energy-saving power system, as well as its intelligent and convenient interior configuration. Now, making its debut in Europe under the new identity of ATTO 2, it aims to fit the aesthetic and usage habits of local consumers and deeply integrate into the European automotive market.
Looking at the product details, referring to the domestic version, BYD Yuan UP offers rich options for European consumers. It provides two different power motors of 70kW and 130kW, which can easily handle both flexible driving in urban commuting and power guarantee for long-distance travel. In terms of driving range, it can reach 301km and 401km respectively, sufficient to meet the daily travel and occasional short trips needs, effectively alleviating the "range anxiety" of European users.
Moreover, to better serve European customers, BYD also revealed that starting from 2026, ATTO 2 will be produced together with other models that have achieved certain results in the European market, such as BYD Yuan PLUS/ATTO 3 and Seagull, at the BYD factory in Hungary. This localization production strategy will greatly shorten the delivery cycle, reduce costs, and ensure the vehicle quality and the timeliness of after-sales maintenance.
With the arrival of ATTO 2 in Europe, BYD is accelerating the construction of its global new energy vehicle map. In the future, European consumers are expected to see more and more ATTO 2 on the streets, experiencing the charm of new energy vehicles from the East and enjoying a new green travel experience.
