BYD Makes Debut in Argentina, Offers Comprehensive Accessories for Dolphin MINI, Yuan Pro to Enhance User Experience

China's new energy vehicle manufacturer BYD officially launched three electric and hybrid vehicles on the 8th in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, marking the brand's formal entry into the Argentine passenger car market.

The models released include two pure electric vehicles, the Dolphin MINI and Yuan Pro, as well as the plug-in hybrid Song Pro DM-i. The new vehicles are equipped with BYD's self-developed "Blade Battery," offering high safety and long-range performance.

BYD Argentina Sales Director Bernardo Fernández Paz stated that over 1,500 vehicles have been pre-sold in the first batch, indicating growing consumer interest in new energy vehicles in the local market.

BYD Vice President of Operations for the Americas, Li Nan, said in an interview with a Xinhua reporter that BYD hopes to promote green mobility in Argentina through technological innovation.

The Argentine government recently announced an exemption of import tariffs for 50,000 electric and hybrid vehicles this year, with the tax-free import quota continuing in 2026, to promote the adoption of new energy vehicles.

BYD has previously entered other Latin American markets, including Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, and Chile.

Alongside the arrival of the three key new energy models in Argentina, BYD has also prepared a range of practical accessories for the newly launched Dolphin MINI and Yuan Pro, aiming to further enhance user convenience and personalize the ownership experience.

For the stylishly agile Dolphin MINI, BYD recommends several accessories focused on daily protection and convenience. Among them, window visors effectively reduce intense sunlight exposure, improving cabin comfort. Door handle bowls and covers help prevent scratches on the car's paint from fingernails during opening and closing, protecting these detailed areas.

Additionally, a specially designed wireless charger pad for the Dolphin MINI offers convenient, cable-free phone charging. Glass protectors provide extra protection for the windows, while front bumper trim pieces help protect the vehicle's front end during daily driving, reducing damage from minor impacts.

For the robust Yuan Pro, the recommended accessories balance utility and protection. Sturdy door sill guards not only decorate the vehicle's side profile but also effectively prevent wear and tear on the sill area when entering and exiting the vehicle, maintaining its appearance.
