BYD Launches ATTO 2 DM-i Super Hybrid in Barcelona
BARCELONA, Spain – BYD has officially launched its ATTO 2 DM-i Super Hybrid model in Barcelona, expanding its electrified vehicle lineup in the European market. The launch event featured media test drives, allowing journalists to experience the vehicle's advanced hybrid technology firsthand.
Electric-First Driving Experience
The ATTO 2 DM-i is designed to provide an electric vehicle-like driving experience for daily use. The model is available in two versions:

Active version: 7.8 kWh battery, 166 PS system power, 40 km pure electric range, 930 km combined range

Boost version: 18.0 kWh battery, 212 PS system power, 90 km pure electric range, 1,000 km combined range
The hybrid system features a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 43.04% thermal efficiency, which seamlessly supports the electric motor when needed. The Boost version achieves an impressive weighted combined fuel consumption of 1.8 L/100 km.
Vehicle Specifications
The compact SUV measures 4,330 mm in length with a 2,620 mm wheelbase. Standard features include an 8.8-inch instrument panel and 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Boost version adds 17-inch wheels, heated front seats, panoramic roof, and 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load capability.
First European deliveries are scheduled for early 2026, with prices to be announced in individual markets.
