The 47th Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS 2026) kicked off today with spectacular fanfare, and BYD, the global leader in new energy vehicles (NEVs), took center stage. The brand unveiled four all-new models for the first time in Thailand simultaneously, while showcasing its iconic full NEV lineup alongside the premium Denza brand. Spanning an impressive 2,835 square meters, BYD’s booth is the largest single-brand exhibition space at the show, solidifying its position as a key player in Thailand’s rapidly evolving automotive landscape.
The four newly launched models—Seagull, Yuan UP, Seal 06, and Sealion 05 DM-i—cater to diverse consumer needs, covering hatchbacks, compact SUVs, and sedans. This strategic launch further enriches BYD’s product matrix in Thailand, extending its reach from entry-level segments to the mainstream market, aligning perfectly with the diverse mobility demands of Thai consumers.
